This prints displays the opening words of the angelic hymn sung to the shepherds announcing the birth of Jesus Christ: Gloria in Excelsis Deo (Glory to God in the Highest). The letters are set in a typeface that I designed myself, surrounded by millefleur ornament resemblin a medieval tapestry, and a border of sea shells.
The print is about one and a half times larger than the original artwork.
