St. Benedict of Nursia was the founder of the Benedictine Order of monks, the author of its rule, the father of western monasticism, and a worker of many mircles. He lived in the late 5th and early 6th centuries.
The print is based on my ink drawings. It is about one and a half times larger than the originals.
