NEW DRAWING



An allegorical journey: While climbing a perilous mountain (where vipers abide), a woman is separated from her family during a storm; she falls toward the abyss but lands on ledge, from which she cannot escape. When tempted by demons, she prays, and the consolation of Charles of Foucauld is with her. A priest helps her to escape the ledge; he walks with her a way (while St. Mark watches over them); she is reunited to her family and ascends toward the mountain peak, where St. Michael awaits them. The Holy Trinity and the saints (Mary, John the Baptist, Paul, Paula, Paul of the Cross, Jerome, Pius of Pietrelcina and Margaret Mary Alacoque) look down from the heavens.
