Chicagloand Catholics may recognize certain details of St. Mary Church. It is pictured in the background of the painting above the high altar at St. John Cantius Church:
St. John Cantius Church also has a 1/3 scale replica of St. Mary's high altar in its south transept. The original was carved by late Gothic master Veit Stoss in the late 15th century. The replica, completed in 2003, was carved by Michal Batkiewicz.
