STATIONS of the CROSS

The Stations of the Cross have their origin in late medieval Franciscan piety. Since the eighteenth century, the number of stations has been fixed at fourteen. The titles of these stations, which I calligraphed below the images, are from the writings of St. Alphonsus de Ligouri.
