Daniel Mitsui  ~  Religious Drawings  ~  St. Silvester



This 4 1/2" × 6" print is based on a picture I drew in ink on paper. It depicts St. Silvester, a pope of the early 4th century who muzzled a dragon that was spewing its poisonous breath into the air of Rome.

I modified the colors when creating the print file (which is shown on this page); those on the original drawing are different. I also added a border of Northumbro-Irish knots taken from another drawing and text set in Millefleur Canic, a typeface that I designed myself.
