MASS for the LIVING
LETTERPRESS PRINT by DANIEL MITSUI

MASS for the LIVING

The depicts the application of the graces of the Mass to the living. A priest reads the Diptychs of the Living; the beginning of this ancient prayer from the Canon of the Mass I wrote on a banderole. A dove representing the Holy Ghost carries the prayer to laborers, contemplative nuns and a knight. This reflects a traditional categorization of society into those who work, those who pray and those who fight.
