This drawing depicts an altar, with an elaborate frontal that includes the images of five saints. The central image is of Luke the Evangelist, patron of doctors and artists. I drew him writing the opening words of his Gospel; behind him stands an easel with an icon of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the Christ Child.
The other four saints depicted are the martyrs Agnes of Rome and Philomena, John Bosco, and John Vianney.
